Why choose BURNBLOCK?
BURNBLOCKi In this case, it is not a surface treatment, but pressure impregnation throughout the entire cross-section, which ensures the long-lasting compliance of wood products with fire reaction class B. BURNBLOCK fire-retardant impregnated products do not require subsequent surface treatment to prevent the leaching of the retardant from the wood.
How does
BURNBLOCK?
How does
BURNBLOCK?
Initial phase – ignition
Fire spread phase, flash point – rapid spread of flame and heat in combustible materials.
"Full-burning phase – the fire is out of control, and all combustible materials are burning.
Cooling phase – smoldering, the fire is extinguished.
BestNoFire uses a specially designed vacuum-pressure system for impregnating wood products with BURNBLOCK fire retardant. The central idea of the process is to use vacuum and pressure to absorb a specific amount (kg/m³) of fire retardant into the wood. The entire process is computer-controlled, and all operations are recorded.
Since the density of even the same wood species can vary, the amount of raw material is always weighed before impregnation to achieve the desired results. The measured values are automatically transmitted to the main computer.
BestNoFire’s goal is to create new opportunities for the broader and more sustainable use of wood materials, even in buildings with higher fire safety classes, to promote environmentally friendly and resource-efficient management, and to contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions.
To achieve this goal, we have invested in a new, modern pressure-treatment system that allows impregnation of products made from various wood species and at different treatment levels. The BURNBLOCK fire retardant we use is 100% natural, biodegradable, pH-neutral, non-corrosive, and has been awarded the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Gold level certificate.
